I will tell you all a little bit about myself and my world of sledding!
I started riding snowmobiles at the age of 5 on my own, before that I was riding with dad. Any of those days when the sun is out and blue bird skies and deep snow appears I totally love being on my XM.
Where do I mostly Ride? – Being from one of the most popular Snowmobile destination last in the world Revelstoke, BC Canada, I am lucky to have this area as my “backyard” but I do like to travel to different places. I have been very lucky to have ridden in a lot of places in US and Canada, and now also Sweden. In my opinion it’s the people you are with that make the day’s epic!
This Season I’ve had a lot going on. Of course Sweden and the XX Freeride Camp! I also have done a 7-day ride with my dad in sleds to raise money for Cancer Research. In addition to that I attend Dealer rides and Ladies Rides in Canada and US. Helping coach ladies clinics as well in BC.
I am riding a 2014 Ski-Doo Summit XM 800 154. LOVING MY XM!
PreSeason Prep – attending snow shows for sponsors, scheduling my winter and training. Snowmobiling is a physical sport so cross training is important to me.
What else do I have going on in my life? – I am a Rep/Athlete for ABS Avalanche Bags so making sure my dealers are happy and helping them at various trade shows. Work Work Work! I am lucky that all my jobs revolve around the snowmobile industry so I’m doing what I love.
It’s hard to really put into words the experience and joy of my trip to Sweden for XX Women’s International Freeride Camps. So much to be thankful for and amazing new friends and memories are made. My heart is full and I can’t wait to come back. My cheeks are sore from smiling and laughing so much and my heart has a little empty spot after leaving all of you and going home to Canada. But lets just be all smiles that this happen.
See you next year.
